Dr Brad Pragnell is currently consulting to Payments Canada for their payments modernization program, to Karandaaz Pakistan on the Micro-Payments Gateway project as well as to a major domestic payment scheme in Australia. Between 2008 and 2016, Brad was the Head of Industry Policy at the Australian Payments Clearing Association (APCA, now known as AusPayNet), where he led the industry’s policy response to what would become the New Payments Platform, Australia & #39;s new faster payment system.

Brad has contributed to numerous recent whitepapers including Citi & #39;s “Age of Consent on Digital ID” (2019) and the Emerging Payments Association “Report on Open Banking the Asia-Pacific” (2020). He has regularly presented at industry events, including Payments Canada & # 39;s Summit and at the Annual Digital Finance Summit at Columbia University. Brad has also been called upon to give expert evidence to Government inquiries – most recently at the Australian Senate & #39;s Fintech Inquiry in February 2020.
