Almando Cox, MSc, ITIL, is the Founder & CEO of ResolveIT Limited, an award-winning value-added IT solutions company that supplies, empowers, and manage technology solutions to enhance productivity, safeguard data, and facilitate data accessibility. The company is now celebrating over 19 years of success with local and global clientele.

With over two decades of experience in information technology, he has held various technical, business development, and senior management roles. Mr. Cox possesses professional expertise in service management, system management, strategy, and digital transformation.

In recognition of his achievements, Mr. Cox received the Most Entrepreneurial Mindset award in the Jamaica Business Development Corporation Business Accelerator Program in 2019 and was subsequently named B.O.S.S Man of the Year for 2020. As of this year Almando currently holds the esteemed position of President within the Jamaica Technology and Digital Alliance, assuming leadership of the Board of Directors. Entrusted with this role, he spearheads the advancement of technology within Jamaica’s digital landscape, ensuring the nation remains at the forefront of innovation and technological progress.

Throughout his career, he has successfully led and executed numerous IT projects in both the private and public sectors, both locally and regionally. Some of his notable accomplishments include “Technology for a Change” in partnership with Microsoft, a program designed to assist nonprofit organizations in achieving more and reaching a broader audience through technology. Additionally, he spearheaded “Technology in Education,” leveraging technology in schools to enhance teaching and learning. More recently, he played a pivotal role in supporting the development and implementation of the Online Registration Management System for the Department of Co-operatives & Friendly Societies.

Mr. Cox is driven by a passion for conceiving solutions that benefit individuals and organizations. He currently volunteers his time in schools and nonprofit organizations, and serves on the Membership Committee at the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica. His core belief is in the power of leveraging technology to improve lives and livelihoods.
