BRIEF BIOGRAPHY
Bartlett Morgan, CIPP/E is a Caribbean-based attorney-at-law and consultant. He is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). He holds a certificate in Data Protection Officer Skills and has received training from the University of Oxford’s Said Business School on Cybersecurity Leadership.
Bartlett is a leading authority on data privacy in the Caribbean.
He has advised numerous entities in the public sector, financial services, tourism and healthcare with respect to their privacy compliance obligations in the Caribbean, the United States and South America. He is also trusted counsel to several entities that have experienced data breaches across the Caribbean. He has authored GDPR compliance guidance for Caribbean-based service providers and also crafted submissions to regional parliaments in respect of their data privacy laws.
He is a principal of Bloomfield Digital, a boutique consultancy providing external data protection officer (DPO) support and other data privacy services to clients.
