BRIEF BIOGRAPHY

Brittany Brathwaite is currently Chief People & Development Strategist with Montrose Holdings Ltd, the Principal Consultant of *The Source Consultancy*, a regional consultancy firm and she currently serves as the Chairperson of the People Development Committee of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA).

In 2024, Brittany was honored with the prestigious Caribbean Rising Star Award by the International Association of Hotel Consultants (IAHC), in collaboration with the CHTA. Recognized by an international panel for her exceptional contributions to people strategy and regional labor policy, she stood out among other regional nominees. Brittany integrates her love of labour policy into riveting People strategy which has resulted in phenomenal success in driving change, curating and sustaining cultures which lend to the competitive advantage of companies has been a critical facet of her work.

With extensive experience working as Regional Labour Policy Advisor with the Caribbean Employers’ Confederation and other regional agencies on national and regional labor policy research and development, Brittany has a deep understanding of the transformative impact macro-level policies can have on countries, companies, and, most importantly, people. Recently, she commenced a significant project on migration training with the United Nations International Organization for Migration (IOM) Office in Dominica in December 2024 and June 2025 continued sectoral training as a representative of the International Organization of Migration, with officials within the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Labour.

Brittany holds an MSc in Global Human Resources from the University of Liverpool and is a graduate of the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ILO), where she completed multiple programs, including Multinational Enterprises Development and Decent Work Program Development. She is also an alumna of the Academy in Labour Law and the Global Young Employers Academy of the International Organization of Employers (IOE). Currently, she is pursuing her LLM, further expanding her expertise in law and policy. Brittany’s dedication to advancing people development and labor policy continues to make a profound impact across the Caribbean region and beyond.
