BRIEF BIOGRAPHY

Over a 25-year career with Scotiabank, Bruce has spent more than 25 years living and working in the Caribbean.

From 2013 – 2016 he had responsibility for Scotiabank’s operations across 22 countries in the Caribbean with total assets in excess of $14 billion, 6,000 staff and more than 150 branches & offices serving 1.5 million customers.

In 2018 Bruce founded ADVANTAQ, a technology-enabled managed service business
providing regional & community financial institutions the benefits of technology and
specialized expertise to improve AML compliance and expedite digitization. ADVANTAQ’s
CompliantCIF product digitizes customer files to improve KYC data quality, enhance
compliance reporting and facilitate account remediation.

Bruce is also the founder of Rock Capital Partners, a private capital fund manager focused
on digital transformation across the Caribbean, and Chairman of Rock Mobile, Jamaica’s 3rd licenced national telecom operator planning to bring high quality, reliable and affordable broadband to Jamaicans in early 2023.

Bruce currently lives in Jamaica with his wife, Suzanne. Suzanne and Bruce Co-Chair the
Advisory Board for SickKids Caribbean Initiative (SCI), which focuses on improving outcomes for pediatric cancer and blood disorders across the region. From 2016 – 2020.

Bruce Co-Chaired the UWI Toronto Gala, which has raised almost $3 million to support
deserving students across the Caribbean.
